BRIDGE IN THE TWILIGHT ZONE..............................( A true story as told to Bridgemeister Gibson ) Not so long ago, when playing at the club a certain member was involved in the following auction: 1S - Pass - 2H -Pass -1NT - Pass - Pass - Pass. No one batted an eyelid: and the hand was played out in 1NT. When declarer came to score the hand ( 1NT -1 ) she said : " Did you know partner, we would have been better off playing in two hearts."
