MOMENTS IN BRIDGE WHEN YOU WANT TO CRAWL AWAY AND DIE.....( By Carp )
  • Partner pre-empts (vulnerable) on a poor suit opposite your void
  • You double a part-score only to see dummy ruffing your opening lead of an Ace
  • Your opponents display far more knowledge about your hand than your empty-headed partner
  • Partner removes your juicy penalty double, convinced it was for take out
  • Partner passes your rescue " for mercy's sake please find another bid" redouble
  • You end up in part-score contract after an uncontested auction.... only to see your opponents awarding themselves a top even before a single card has been played
  • Having just replied to a 5NT bid to inform partner about your king holding, it suddenly dawns on you that bid was meant as a sign off
  • By failing to play trumps when you had the chance, you allow the opponent with the singleton 2 of trumps to score an unexpected ruff
  • Partner passes your splinter bid
  • Your futile psyche has only encouraged partner to leap to slam.......only to see the opponents gleefully double.....but then a bigger disaster awaits you when your moron-of-a-partner redoubles !!
