- Pun recently submitted 10 brand new entries for "The Best Pun Bridge Book Title" title....... but to no avail. The man himself was so gutted he was reported as saying: " I guess it was a case of no pun in ten did." Only one got anywhere close to a result, and that was " Best Defence.......(by)......Barry Cade."
- Undeterred, Pun is already working on next year's competition, having created and compiled another hundred bridge book titles, from which one or two seem certain to make his final ten.
